Wow - that was a super annoying hit. There was no progress bar. My hand just hurts from the repetitive clicking of reading a single sentence to have to click to be able to read the next sentence in the paragraph. The first session I just did is so is low paying, I considered throwing it back many times but held on because of the promise of future better paying and shorter surveys plus I was already in the middle of it. I will think twice before accepting any future hits from this requester. It is supposed to be a total of 4 sessions of 40 minutes. For a total of $5.00, the takes a whole month to collect on. So it is total crap.From the requestor:
This study is a longitudinal study, which requires this initial session, plus 3 follow-up tests after various amounts of time (1 day, 1 week, and 1 month - from the date of the first session).
The follow-up sessions will be much quicker than this first session and you will earn increasingly more money after each completed session.
The first session (today) is worth $0.50.
The second session (tomorrow) is worth $1.00.
The third session (exactly 1 week from 1st session) is worth $1.50.
The fourth session (exactly 1 month from 1st session) is worth $2.00.
After the 4th session, you will have earned $5.00 for approximately 40 minutes of total participation time.

Lol. This is literally the time you will get assuming you are a quick reader. No progress bar, this entire survey hinges on the promise that the followup studies, valued at 1, 1.50 and 2.00, will be much shorter than this initial investment. Tomorrow and the following days will tell if this was a complete waste of time.Regardless, what a terrible way to get people to do your longitudinal study and entice them to do the subsequent studies, by tossing a copy pennies their way for an estimated 30 minutes worth of work.
I did this survey not to benefit and reward the requester for a poorly paid survey, but to make sure people are aware of this trashy practice.

WHAT THE EVER LOVING $(#*. I thought that MAYBE it would be one of those HITs that says 30 minutes but it's not 30 minutes but it was NOT. Freakin' terrible. Doesn't matter what the followups pay
