The requester is partially correct in their rejection feedback.

I did not remember taking this survey so when I checked my hit history, I was able to see the original survey (which was taken three weeks ago) and compare it with this current one.

They are indeed similar but they are not the exact same survey. (This is why I did not remember it.)

At the end of the day, I could have checked my hit history before taking the survey to be certain but live and learn, I suppose ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Advice to Requester

To avoid wasting precious time on your end and the workers' end, I would recommend that you screen out previous participants with the standard template 'You have already completed the maximum number of HITs allowed by this requester' or something similar. Thank you.

I have no record of ever doing a HIT by this requester or of any HIT named "Survey of Opinion on Market Offers". Nor do I have any memory of a HIT with these scenarios or types of scenarios. I suspect I may have accepted and returned it or it expired when it was first posted and that is why he thinks I've done it. I've written to the requester and am awaiting a response.
