Bonus potential doesn't seem great (average is 45 cents), many different tasks and none of them were particularly interesting, actual questions mixed in with demographics, seems like it's over but it's not.

Sorry for this impression.
Before 2018, I would have agreed that VPN-checks are not necessary, but recent studies have unfortunately shown that... they are needed (at some times only 70% of participants that MTurk classifies as US participants are located in the US).
