I was able to pull up the HIT again to collect the IRB information. I contacted the IRB very early Sunday morning and as of noon Monday, the rejection was overturned. I shouldn't have had to go to such an extreme to have valid data accepted in the first place. I probably won't be doing any more studies for requesters under the UBC umbrella and there are a lot of them.Cons
Literally rejected within minutes because this clown thinks I am a bot. The study was taken offline just as fast because when I tried to re-open it to get the IRB information to report them, I could no longer access it. This may be the rejection that prompts me to actually contact an IRB for the first time as a Mturk worker.Advice to Requester
When I am able to reopen the link to your study I am reporting you to your IRB for abusive practices and accusing humans of being bots.
