Pros

Requester actually did respond, and demonstrates a willingness to learn from their mistakes.

Cons

Rejected for "repeated submissions" (i.e. I already took this at some point in the not-so-distant past), and no exclusion qualification to prevent this from happening.

Update: the requester wrote back and thanked me for my "helpful feedback" regarding exclusion qualifications but couldn't be bothered to overturn a questionable rejection. I'll be steering clear of this requester in the future.

Advice to Requester

Set up an exclusion qualification rather than handing out rejections.

Pros

Requester responded to inquiry and stated that it was stated in the consent form that repeats were not permitted. Admitted to not knowing how to put a qualifier on but said they are working with MTurk on it as well as changing the instruction text to state that the survey is not to be taken twice.

Cons

I should have remembered this HIT from last month after the requester mistakenly "rejected everyone's work".

Rejected for multiple submission.
Requester apparently does not know how to put a no-retake qual to prevent retakes.

Advice to Requester

Learn to use quals to your advantage to avoid issues like this.

Pros

Heard back from the requester and they made an error and rejected everyone accidentally. Said that they have a call scheduled with Amazon to try to fix the problem. Will update again once/if the rejection is overturned. Rejection overturned!

Cons

Rejected for "not completing the the survey and generating incorrect completion code". Contacting requesting clarification. I always double check the code before I submit and I doubt I would have submitted a code without competing a survey.
