Pros
Sometimes you get a really good bonus, 7.00 for me for this one that only took like 10 minutes.Cons
Here are some things I have learned about these hits:-Sometimes when you get a bonus it won't "register" with the system and your hit will be approved, but you will not get sent the bonus. This is fairly rare, but the next time you complete one of the surveys and get a bonus, the previous unpaid bonus will be included in it. I found this out the hard way when I did not get my $10.65 bonus I was expecting, so I stopped working for this requester for like 5 months. I was bored one day wanting to make money and said screw it, and to my happy surprise, after I completed a full survey and was sent my bonus, that $10.65 was included with it. I think most of what this requester does is automated, so I think it might just be some kind of glitch. Like I said it was literally 5 months later, had I known I just needed to complete another to get that first bonus, I would have done it sooner.
-When you get terminated from a survey, but still get to submit for the .5 cents, the next time you DO get a bonus from a survey, each of the previous .5 cent ones you submitted are subtracted from that bonus. For example you do 3 for just the .5 cents from being terminated from surveys, then you complete one with a dollar bonus, you will actually only be paid .85 cents because the .15 cents from the 3 will be subtracted.
It has said no surveys available to me for 3 weeks now, I know Christmas and the new year have made everything slow, but I see others getting HITs submitted, so does this mean I am blocked? Or would I not be able to see the HITs at all if I was blocked? Don't know where to find this answer and it sucks that no other turkers can reply to this, but I cannot fathom why I would be blocked, the last survey I did was a pretty good paying one and everything was approved and bonus paid, so? Well I found the answer and I guess when someone blocks you, you get a message with the reason for blocking, so I guess I have never been blocked before. I guess this means I am just not getting lucky and accepting these james billings hits when they are available? Even though I try about 100 times a day?

I did it just to say that I did one of these godawful thingsInstant approval and bonus, at least???????
Cons
Way too many demographics pages to go through before you get to find an actual survey, if you even manage to find one in the first placeSlave wage pay for an endless survey with an annoying interface
I made sure that I had ten minutes to do the survey, and it ended up taking me 14 minutes to do, which is over the limit that the requester listed
Pay is not shown until end of the survey, so you're forced to slog through the survey in the hopes that you'll actually be paid anything good
There is no option in the HIT to complain about the terrible survey content
Overall a waste of time
I emailed the requester about the survey going over the time limit, and complained about the terrible wage for the survey. It has been 2 weeks, and there has been no response.

I gave this HIT the benefit of the doubt a couple of times. But it is NOT worth it. At first, it will tell you the minimum bonus is $1.82. Then, when you click the link it drops to about $0.52. After that, you will continue to do screenings (sometimes the same ones you got disqualified for 5 times already) until you just give up. So you wasted 15-20 minutes for $0.02.Extra Note:
Be cautious about when you do 'qualify' for a HIT. It will direct you to a survey and take 20+ minutes only for you to get to 90% completion and then to throw you out for all of a sudden not qualifying anymore.
