"Social dominance orientation refers to a general attitude toward intergroup relations, reflecting whether one generally prefers such relations to be equal, versus hierarchical. Individuals low on social dominance orientation prefer all groups to be ranked equally, whereas individuals high on social dominance orientation prefer groups to be ranked differently." - whole concept is nonsense to me. How could anybody have a universal "preference" for "social dominance" between ENTIRELY NONSPECIFIC GROUPS? I prefer that criminals be kept non-dominant, and people who obey just laws be dominant - I prefer that political parties be relatively equal. The VAST majority of potential "groups" I flatly DO NOT CARE.
