In this experiment you will listen to 40 classical music pieces. You have to continuously rate, using a slider, how much SURPRISE are you feeling at each moment in time...Each of the 40 musical pieces is one minute long, and after each musical piece you will be asked to answer a few questions about the music you just heard. In addition, after some of the duets there is a short memory task - you will hear a short excerpt and will need to decide whether it was part of the song you just heard or not. This experiment can take up to two hours to complete. Turn your volume on and use headphones or loudspeakers
It is very important that you provide continuous ratings. Move the slider continuously while the song plays and do it according to how much SURPRISE you feel at each moment in time.
This will take a minimum of 60 minutes for the rating task (1 minute per song and 30 seconds for for follow up questions to each song which is 7 sliders)
plus 5 minutes for demographics personality questions after music task
so a total minimum 65 minutes you must be totally focused and engaged during each song but if you need a break just don't start the next song until your ready

Very limited effort involved, number of blocks (5) stated up front, accurate progress indicator throughout. Possibly could be completed a bit faster than the time noted. Instant approval.Cons
All in iframe. Requests use of physical mouse. Errors result in forced time delays. Instructions were a bit confusing (was considerably easier to do than it seemed in the description).

Probably easily one of the weirdest hits I've ever done. Need a mic, have to constantly make a noise while listening to clips and then answer questions. I didn't hate it, and it paid well. You'll need a working mic and headphones.Cons
