These are well known, have a company behind them (https://userinput.io) and IME the requester is an incredibly nice person & responsive to inquiries/emails.I can't stress the nice part enough. He's a good guy. I just wholly disagree with the way he runs this business on MTurk in a lot of cases, this HIT is a prime example of why.

$11/hr for the type of expertise they ask for in these HITs simply isn't worth it. For the worker, client, or userinput as a company IMO.The entire HIT is writing detailed feedback based on what is supposed to be the user's expertise and on no other platform on Earth would I offer my services for $10/hr like this. I can go do a dead simple "pick A or B" image task on MTurk that I hardly even need to turn my brain on to complete for $18/hr.
The value trade here simply doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of fair. That generally ends one of two ways on MTurk: either people lie about their qualifications (so the client gets completely scammed) or they put in far less effort than they would if these actually paid a more professional rate.
I will say that unlike other companies that's not even this guy being cheap, you can go to their website & see their pricing and frankly they don't really make a ton being the middle man. I'd love to see them charge clients more & share some of that back with the workers. I know I'd do these more often and put in more effort for that kind of setup, as is I'd assume this continues to be bottom of the barrel quality.

It was something to do when I was bored...

It's all writing, I knew that going-in, the minimum required isn't a lot for the 7 questions unless you really love typing.
