Oh man, where to start. The instructions states (copy/pasted from the hit) "(about 200 sentences, which takes about 20-30 minutes). I've been doing this enough years to know it's not possible to record 200 sentences in 200 separate audio files - and upload them all in 20 minutes, much less 30. Against my better judgement (ughh), I decided to try to see how quickly I could do it because I'm desperate for money. You know, to EAT and stuff, during the recent Mturk famine. Going at top speed (without sacrificing quality) and the time 70 minutes! Read, record, save, number, double-check things due to grammar and spelling errors in requester's sentences, rinse & repeat. So, $5.00 for 70 minutes is not fair/acceptable pay, which doesn't even address the "20-30 minutes" timeframe requester gave.

Worse, after everything involved with recording and uploading 200 audio files, she rejected me stating I didn't upload the 200 files, even though the hit clearly stated I did. Seriously. While recording the audios, I even thought "This is a lot of work, it's not just clicking bubbles 200 times. Wouldn't it be terrible if she rejected me..."

There's more, but at this point, I'm just bummed out and done reviewing.

I'll update review if she overturns the rejection (for the rejection only, not the low pay, but will upgrade the latter if they're kind enough to bonus the pay to be fair with amount of work) - and also makes it so that I can upload my files to her a second time. More time/money will be lost on contacting, waiting and uploading again.

Very difficult to keep track of your recordings. Lot of work involved Recordings + zip + upload. You need at lest 1.5 hour to complete all processes. Very underpaid work.

Advice to Requester

Should provide bonus.
