Many of the questions didn't pertain to me and I sent the requester a message explaining why I answered the survey the way I did....no response. We'll see if she ever responds/reverses the rejection.

I got rejected as well with the same lame excuse. I should have realized something was up when the time estimate was 20 minutes to complete but there were only 4 pages to the survey, only 2 of which had survey questions on them. I just finished writing an email to see if I can this overturned and will update this if I hear back.

UPDATE: While I got a form email saying they would look into the issue, I never heard anything else. I did have the rejection overturned so that all that really matters at the end of the day. I still would not recommend working for this requester.

Follow-up coming with slightly higher pay.

Cons

Google form.
Same question rephrased a couple of dozen times.
Some questions only make sense if you answered a certain way on previous questions.
EDIT: Rejection, requester contacted.
EDIT2: Rejection reversed, but no further communication or explanation about the issue.
EDIT3: Email from requester stating they are new to mturk, didn't understand what rejections meant, realized it was not ethical, and promised to not do it ever again.
