Stay away if you moved to a new state and your Mturk Location Qualification isn't the same as your current state! I did everything correctly and it was the Requester's fault for not understanding how Mturk works or the responsibility that comes with it. She never made that clear on the survey, she made it sound like it was my fault when I had no way of knowing (Mturk won't update my location to my current state...we all know that's a well known fact) despite her understanding the situation she refused to overturn the rejection. The fact that she approved a fellow participant who's state wasn't even on the survey and I did everything correctly as stated on the survey (I qualified based on my current location) is just wrong and not fair. Go at your own risk!Advice to Requester
Be more willing to overturn rejections that are not the participant's fault, it's not fair to anyone to reject them for things they have no control over.Don't rely on the Mturk Location Qualification.
Make separate qualification HITs so that way you ensure that the participants are from the correct state prior to putting out the actual survey HIT.

Hi there, the code entered back into MTurk was incorrect, so we aren't able to use the survey responses due to concern of not being read.
