I get bots are an issue for some requesters but do not throw 900 bot checks at us and then at the end of the survey threaten to reject us if we say a specific word or phrase in your feedback section. We are not children and most of us do not turk for fun. You already have excessive bot checks and do not need to throw that in there as well.Yes, those that use bots can damage the reputation of turkers in general but for those of us that are honest and do our best to do good work reading crap like that is just insulting. I am so tired of seeing more and more surveys with requesters talking to us like we are children. Now, if you will excuse me I left my sippy cup in the kitchen and have to go get it.

Pros
Update: 20 cent bonus received same day. Still underpaid, and I think the description was misleading (I expected 40 cents)Cons
Hit description mentions some workers will advance to the "next stage" for 40 cents, but it's unclear whether that means another hit, or if there's a bonus. If there's a bonus for this hit, that will bring the pay up to fair. The possible $8 follow up does not sound like it will be worth it either.Xanabanana Proficient Worker
A 1.5-minute, 15-cent screener ($1.05 today if you qualify) for 3-part study Mon-Fri: $3.80. (~ 2 minutes) - $0.15

Pros
Paid screener. decent hourly/bonus by the end of the week when the experiment is finished. Should be a generous time window to complete the two follow-up surveys. Keeping pay unrated until study is finished out of fairnessCons
wants you to download a phone app and have it record study-relevant data for the week (not terribly invasive, but these kinds of things are always sketchy).
