Rejected within 24 hours for "Ineligible; I already participated in previous study" (that's a quote; I didn't write it). I messaged the requester with the following points:- no quals or I wouldn't have been able to accept this
- The hit title says "II" so I thought it was the second part of a multi-part study
- This study was a lot shorter than the previous one, which took 20 minutes, so I thought it was different.
The requester replied the next day that he'd reversed the rejection. He said he was using a script that worked "9 times out of 10"; I suggested he use the MTurk qual system instead and included some reasons why that would be a good choice. He thanked me and said he'd definitely look into it.
Advice to Requester
If you want to prevent retakes please use the Mechanical Turk qualification system.

Bubble hell. 7 pages of bubbles with probably 50 questions on easy. Way too many attention checks and some questions that I couldn't tell if they were checks or real questions!
