ProsFinally, watching Food Network for way too many hours on end for way too many years is starting to pay-off!!!
These are great if you really know your food ingredients and you cook, otherwise you probably won't get the .10 cent bonus for each recipe type you classify and then the pay is only .05 cents and no bonus.
These can run the gamut between being really great pay and only mediocre or worse, it all depends on how many ingredients are listed and how fast you can recognize the cuisine type out of 10 possible types of cuisine AND be correct more often than not.
About 4 days afterwards, your mailbox gets a bunch of .10 cent bonus notifications for all of the recipes you correctly classified.
Cons60 second timer! You cannot Go Ham on these!
Some cuisines' ingredients are very similar to each other and there's no measurements given for the ingredients or cooking directions that would be helpful sometimes.

ConsThe HIT has a 60 minute timer and you have to scramble to read and retain pages and pages of instructions and examples related to the task before doing samples for them. If you are really good at quickly getting the hang of complicated, subjective AI training HITs then you will probably do better than me. As for me, I spent most of the hour reading the instructions and wasn't left with much time to try the task out before submitting. If you don't pass the qual you've made less that a dollar for that hour.
Advice to RequesterI think you will get good results with this task if you increase the time limit for the qual and offer bonuses or something to fairly compensate people for the time they spend trying to learn your HIT

ProsPretty easy, once you get the hang of them. The requestor is responsive and sends helpful tips. I've yet to have any rejections from the requestor. I genuinely enjoy the work and don't find it tedious.
ConsIt requires critical thinking. A somewhat high learning curve, it's taken me a few weeks to get to the point where I can work this fast. Previously, it took me around 4m per hit. Additionally, the requestor takes a while to approve sometimes. It's not unusual to have hits pending for a week or so, which can be nervewracking when you first start.
Advice to RequesterFast approval would encourage people to work the batches, even when there are more competitively priced batches.
