All 45 of the HITS that I took hours and hours completing for this requester were rejected with the message "We are updating the structure and entry requirements of the survey, however, unfortunately it means that the previously given results are invalid.". I've been working on MTurk for over 10 years. I have over 90,000 approved HITS and a 99.62% approval rating. I knew better than to do HITS for an untested requester, but I was desperate for work - there'd been very little other work coming up for me on MTurk for for the past nearly 2 weeks, and I've been put in a situation where I need to earn from home more desperately than ever. So I took a chance on these HITS, and guess what? I learned my lesson. NEVER do endless hours of work for an untested requester. I knew that already, but I let my desperate situation push me to do HITS that I knew might not pay. In any case, of course I've reached out to the requester asking for the rejections to be overturned, (which as you can see, are unfair rejections - they didn't even GRADE my work, they literally say in their message that they rejected all work without any reason other than changing the format of the HITS) but I don't have much hope. If a miracle happens and I do get the rejections overturned, I'll do what I can to remove or edit this review if possible.Advice to Requester
Don't reject people's work unfairly. I logged hours per day of work on your HITS for several days in a row for zero pay. I've been working on MTurk for over 10+ years and have never felt this unfairly treated by a requester before in all my time on the platform, with over 90,000 HITS submitted and approved. Please at least GRADE someone's work before rejecting it. Rejecting the work because you want to change the format of the HITS is incredibly unfair. No one will work on your HITS if this is the way you treat people's time and effort.
