This was actually fun and interesting. Normally I don't do writing tasks but I bit and wrote a short essay on my favorite bird. I figured this was to test the interface of an app, as per the title. Yeah, no. He rejected me with this reasoning "This is not what I wanted? I wanted an app review not this stupid bird question. I didn't even choose it"Not cool. So YOU made a mistake and I get rejected? The entire page was about birds, and had a unique interface. No links or anything to any other task. Workers aren't mind readers.
Advice to Requester
I don't intend to be rude, but you need to learn more about how Mturk works before putting up any more hits. If you reject a worker's work (that they spent time on) that lowers their rating. If you intend to use Mturk in the future, make sure that your hits are accurate and correct, with the proper links included, and what you want done clearly stated *before* you publish the hit for people to work on. It isn't fair to reject someone because of your mistakes.
