Pros
Work is consistently available, which on mTurk is a very rare thing. While the schedule can sometimes be erratic it is probably one of the most reliable batches on mTurk. They communicate when work will be available a lot more nowadays & have worked w/ folks to increase stability/reliability here so that's always a plus for workers.Closed qual means the batches have enough work available to make a consistent wage on.
Requester will almost always reply if you have a question.
The work is incredibly engaging, each HIT is like a puzzle and you have to put the pieces together in order to submit it.
Once you're good at them the sustained hourly can range from $15-$30/hr without extra scripting/modding. I tend to average ~$25/hr (without bonuses) depending on the batch.
They've since added a Slack channel where workers can get direct support from the company on work so I've updated my review to reflect that.
Cons
The work is much more difficult than people like to believe before they get the qual. You only get paid for results, a lot of workers find those kind of tasks/pay structures frustrating, but if you're good at the tasks they're totally worth it.
Can take a LONG time to "ramp up" your experience level to be able to do these HITs at a good hourly rate.
Standard layout of the HITs leaves much to be desired, but they're at least making an effort to work on that.
While the work is engaging, that means a lot of mental effort is required to maintain a high standard of accuracy, which can be draining to some folks. I've personally always found them to be fun but YMMV, some folks hate thinking haha.

Pros
These are a lot of fun, you get to judge the original reviewer AND the person who dinged them (for sometimes dubious reasons). This hourly on this review is actually low for what I think you can average over the full course of working on these HITs as this was an addy that I had to actually go look up myself.
Nice reward for actually doing the original verifications correctly instead of just trying to spam them or "head hunt" people's quals nitpicking at the most minor / stupid things (which then wastes everyone's time+money)
Requester is always around for communication if needed through their Slack channel AFAIK.
Cons
I think these kind of batches pop up maybe once or twice a year, so they're not exactly reliable work but its a nice bonus every once in a while.jessers Average Pace

This also doesn't include the 10 returns I had to go through to find a doable one... I just want to balance out the inaccurate hourlies. Yes, some vrapi work is $100/hr, and some is $2/hr. TBH, it really shouldn't have any TV data because it's impossible to quantify with one sweeping measurement. It's the very definition of YMMV, between each hit, batch, location, experience, etc., but other users reviewing an easy one they cherrypicked is pretty inaccurate especially given the wildly different circumstances to take into account.Cons
