Like everyone else i was rejected because the req made a mistake. They say the study was supposed to be $.50 not $1.00. I could understand the mistake if it was like 1.00 instead of .10 but this just seems like a req who decided they needed more data and didn't want to pay for it. Either way, it is not the workers fault and the mistake wasn't something obvious that we should have realized. I messaged the req twice and so far I haven't received a response. I pointed out that rejecting workers without a valid reason is a breach of the mTurk TOS but i doubt that matters much to a req willing to steal data, lie and endanger workers accounts. I adjusted my completion time to reflect the time I put into trying to get the rejection reversed and tracking down their contact info.Advice to Requester
Don't be a thief, pay the workers for their time and effort.
