Promised a $2 bonus. Sent a 1 cent bonus with only the word "Your" as the message. Contacted them and they told me they would not bonus me as promised.Told them to make sure my data is deleted if they refuse to pay me and they stated they already verified to me they did. However, they sent me a screenshot of my own data...
For CC'ing the IRB and requesting this, the requester threatened to have my MTurk account shut down lmao.
Avoid this clown of a requester. Unacceptable.

So initially you're told you'll be given a bonus and to make choices based on that but at the end of the study you're told it's actually only a random chance that you may receive your bonus."After the experiment concludes, we will randomly choose the participants that receive the bonus in addition to the $0.50 for participation. Those who are not chosen will receive the $0.50 for participation without the bonus payment. "
