It wasn't the higher paying one :(Was rejected with the message that I entered a wrong code and to contact them if I felt this was an error. Which I did, and apologized if I pasted an incorrect code and listed what I did in the task.
They replied stating it's not uncommon to be scammed and my code was way different (I probably pasted the wrong code) and further, they received no data from me with my worker ID. I know I did the task, I recall it vividly, but if there is no data from me and the code is wrong, I have no way to prove I'm not a scammer. I replied back with details over what I did during the hit and assured them I did not scam, but I'm not hopeful that this will be reversed despite me being able to clearly state what I did in this hit.
Update: After a few email exchanges they reversed the hit, but I was never told why or if they found data. I was told they realize I'm not a scammer because I reached out to them. Hope they found usable data!

Thank you for your suggestion. It's a screener survey, we got what we need in it. If you are not interested in the follow-up research with a... different format and design, it's 100% okay and we are fine if you are not interested. You will get paid for the time completing our screener.

Uhhhhh, yeah, that is for real. I personally will likely do the follow up because I've been enjoying the couple of extra interviews conducted lately, its been nice connecting with people even if in a research focused way.Cons
