The objects were the exact same and I gave them the highest similarity rating hm kDid not receive reply to communication within 5 days, did reply to contact sent to direct email. Project was not actually run by requester, but by their student assistant Kamrul Hasan, whose contact information is not provided anywhere in the HIT.
Upon contacting him he said he would look into ASAP, but didn't until a week and a half later after 2 emails. Then when he looked into it, he could not find my data and was unable to overturn the rejection despite being sent a guide on how to do it even if the data was absent and despite being told he could contact MTurk support to have it overturned.
The reason for rejection was explained vaguely and seemed like it was based on an automated rejection system which he believed rejected it because all my answers were the same (because I only submitted one HIT), which if true is not a very well thought out system.
