ProsQuick, easy to do, can do several HITs
ConsCan be difficult to know if a location is a museum or not. There is often no information in the link given, other than the name, and sometimes the locations are defunct, making it even more difficult to determine what they were. However, if you spend time researching, you miss out on being able to do multiple copies of HIT, thus encouraging quick work over accurate work.
Also annoying is the fact that there are three attention checks you must clear every single time you do it. The answers are the same each time (Answers: orange, recreational park, it is a gallery primarily focused on selling art), but the first time you do it, it's difficult to figure out, as the first answer is hidden within the page, and the second question has two technically correct answers, but only one is acceptable.
After this, you can simply answer them the same every time, but be warned, if you make a mistake and select a wrong answer accidentally due to trying to be fast (like I did) you will be rejected. It does not matter if you've done 100 other HITs and had them all approved, they will still reject. And worse, if you get two rejections, you can no longer do any future HITs, making it all the more important that you don't speed through the attention checks.
I did a new HIT by the same Requestor titled "Museum classification". It is almost identical to "Is this a museum?" with the exception that you'll be looking at the Yelp listings to select what KIND of museum it is, rather than if it is one.
Again, this is very much up to interpretation, since there's almost nothing to go on. But here's the real tricky part. The attention check questions have now changed!
Instead of "orange, recreational park, it is a gallery primarily focused on selling art", they are "purple, general museum".
Naturally, because the HIT was identical, and you can choose ORANGE as one of your answers, I mistakenly chose it, and received a rejection...again.
I've contacted the Requestor multiple times, but they fail to get back to me. The fact that they've gone from a 99% approval rating down to 96% in only a couple days is also very concerning, as it shows just how easily they are to reject anyone and are unresponsive to any kind of communication! Beware!
Advice to RequesterBe more forgiving with the attention check questions. Perhaps after a person has answered them once, they don't need to repeat them every single time? Perhaps if they get them wrong after doing dozens of the HITs for you correctly, you could cut them some slack and not reject them?

Proslol if you want a good laugh do one of her hits lol it's a riot it's so hysterically funny. Every drop down menu has at least three options in it that says "if you select this you will be blocked" LMFAO like really? lol I think to myself who would want to NOT be blocked lol what a piece of garbage..THIS REQUESTER is making a fool of themselves... There is 100% confidence within myself and the rest of the workers on this platform that have been denying these rejections we are correct. It's a problem with her own work however she has her garbage set up that's her problem... I have 100% confidence in myself and the other workers. It's not us, its her!
ConsThis requester has a very serious problem with their own work. It is not ANYONE else's. It is hers and I am done with it. The first time I took two fake rejections from her saying that I didn't fill in the criteria and I thought OK I even doubted myself even though I was pretty confident otherwise that I didn't do such a thing.but I ate those like trash. But but but but but no no no no no guess what happened? Now today I took screenshots of everything and I literally have them right in front of my face right now and I just got three rejections from this ripoff requester saying I didn't fill in the criteria again no that is not the case that is absolutely 100% not the case I am looking at my screenshots right now!!!! I should have thrown her in a block list long ago I thought I give somebody the benefit of the doubt and that was my mistake yet again on here because 99% of the time I give a Requester the benefit of the doubt I always end up getting screwed. She is now officially in my block list...its unreal to me absolutely still shocks me to this day years later how people can be such a rip off artist.
Advice to RequesterHere is a great piece of advice you need to check your own work because all of us cannot be wrong. I think you need to look at your own garbage first. I'm curious (in a sarcastic way) of why you have to put so many things in each drop down menu saying "if you select this you will be blocked" LMFAO "if you select this I'm gonna block you" blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah lol I think you're looking to get free work and it's very clear that's what you're doing look what you've done.. lolol take a hike to my block list and wherever else you feel like going.. but first maybe you should see what's wrong with your own garbage hit lol

- HIT Rejected
ConsRejection. We're missing a question in the first couple questions. I don't understand why it wouldn't screen me out or boot me out instead of doing the rest of the work for free. I wouldn't half ass anything I genuinely tried my best it wasn't for lack of attention and I don't like wasting my time either...if I missed one of the first questions I should be booted out of the study immediately!! I shouldn't be wasting the rest of my time to do it ..time is money around here and I don't like wasting it. I actually kind of disrespectful to tell you the truth. And I accept 100% I made a mistake it isn't about being butt hurt about a rejection or anything of that nature. I just don't feel like I needed to continue to waste my time and I should've been routed out honestly. but I'm the one who made the mistake it was an honest mistake.
