Completed what I assumed was a paid screener, since I was given a code at the end; was rejected with a message saying "Sorry, you don't qualify for this survey". Very frustrating, but I suppose I should have seen the warning signs from the prior rejection listed on the review page.EDIT: Adding communication rating, as I never heard back.
Advice to Requester
Please don't use rejections to manage qualifications; receiving a code at the end made me assume I was okay to submit the task. I'm sure workers down the line would appreciate this getting changed so they don't take rejections from the same confusion. Using the MTurk qualification system would make this a lot easier on us.

The progress bar appeared to be moving at a normal rate so that it felt like I finished the survey so I had no reason to assume I had been screened out other than the lack of a code which happens all the time.
I did message him but never heard back.

HIT was rejected saying that I did not qualify for the survey. I noted that about 10 others Turkers commented they received the same error code and rejection. I have contacted the Requestor, who has not communicated backUpdate: Still no communication from Requestor
Advice to Requester
Over ten Turkers received rejections because of an error code that we did not qualify for the survey. There clearly is a broken flag in your study. I have contacted you, but there is no answer. Please fix the rejection and pay for the study. I wold appreciate communication from you.
