Pros
Cons
Rejected due to being part of the wrong demographic. In fairness to the Requestor, there is a single sentence in the 3000+ character, 12 paragraph long participation info page that is easy to miss. There is no information in the title specifying who may participate, and on the Mturk page where you open the link the information is hidden by default. Worst of all, there is no screener, so it is very easy to waste your time on this task for a rejection.Advice to Requester
Screeners exist for a reason! Use them! Don't be afraid to fill the page (both on Mturk and in the survey) with warnings about who the survey is for. Also don't be afraid to put your demographic request in the title of the HIT so people who don't match the demographics don't even bother to accept it in the first place. You wouldn't believe how many HITs I've avoided that I would have otherwise accepted because the title told me I wouldn't need apply.JDFSSS Relaxed Pace

Pros
Cons
Rejected for not meeting the requirements. This survey does not have any screener questions to screen you out. Requirements are listed in the HIT instructions and consent form, and the requester is letting people complete the survey and rejecting them even though they don't meet the requirements. Emailed the requester and will update if overturned or any notable response.Advice to Requester
Screen people out who don't meet the requirements. Don't let them complete the survey, give them a completion code and then reject.wampus New Reviewer

Pros
Cons
Rejected on demographics. Apparently this survey was designated for people who identify as black. I wish Jeremy Otridge would have made this more clear by mentioning it in the title or summary, or by using a screener prior to submission.Study asked only for respondents who identify as Black but you did not respond as such in the survey
