Consider this a review of the entire processes that this requester has to offer over the last 5, and not just this HIT of this study. The reason why is because I did not have the opportunity to actually do the original HIT that would have given access to these tasks in the first place.Pros
Relatively simply if you don’t care.
Fire and forget. By which I mean, this project is designed in such a way that you do it once a month or twice a month and then you forget about it until next month comes around.
The requestor actually talks about the project and any problems you may have with it, which is very helpful for hashing out problems.
The requestor is also up for feedback at any given time.
Bonuses if you happen to be the top scoring, with one dollar per month guaranteed if you are active enough.

There’s no indication of how the points system works, how you make money, or how the tiers work. It’s all off a vague system that isn’t explained in any way.Closed Qual. You need to have the in to get in and do them.
The initial HIT requires an IQ test, which I’m opposed to for many reasons. The IQ test is also not particularly relevant to the details of the project, so I’m not sure why it’s required.
The project is held off site from mTurk. You’ll need an email or a phone number to login, and there’s no form of a proper log in system, so you’ll need to login each time via your phone or via your email.
What awards are there are virtually non-existent, and it’s unsure what is the highest possible amount. In addition, because there are no tiers, there is no knowledge of what place makes what. From what I gleaned the highest amount is 20 and the lowest is .25. There is no knowledge of how that would work in the grand scheme.
Rules of how the system works are not clear cut in the slightest so you don’t know how it works. It’s easy to figure once you do it, but it’s still very annoying.
