Rejected with feedback: "Incorrect surveycode submitted"I've done over 12k HITs and have never had one rejected for invalid code before. Seems unlikely I actually submitted an incorrect code, but IDK. Have emailed the requester to see if this can be fixed in some way.
Update 5/22: Requester got back to me and claims they didn't receive a writing response from me. Which is kind of odd now that I think about it because my initial rejection feedback was that I gave an incorrect code, not that I didn't give a writing response. Regardless though, requester seemed nice and gave me the opportunity to retake the HIT so the rejection can be overturned. Will try to update when they overturn it.
Update 6/2: Contacted requester again yesterday because it was still showing as rejected. They got back to me and said they would take it up with mturk again to get it overturned. They also offered to do a compensation HIT if the rejection was still showing today. So I checked today and the rejection was finally gone.
I find it unlikely this rejection was my fault given the requester's inconsistent feedback, low approval rate and rejection reports from others but it is possible. At least the requester is nice and worked with me though, so I appreciate that.

Rejected claiming I missed an attention check. I re-opened the survey with HIT tracker to check; there were no attention checks in it. None. Unethical rejection, but at least this one is university-affiliated with an IRB.Got a message back from the requester saying it was a code issue, but it can't be overturned. Got a $1.50 bonus. Still have a ding on my approval rating though.
Got overturned today.
