This specific HIT had an 8 minute study embedded into the survey. It most certainly did not take a couple of seconds and I've already sent an email to the requestor explaining this.The requestor completely ignored my email, but they at least approved my work. I guess that worth something.
Update: The requestor got back to me after a week on a seperate account and apologized about the issue, but then only gave me .20 extra cents as compensation, effectively almost a pittance that would be designed to not bother him anymore. I advise you not to work on these HITs as the people or persons running the account are only willing to pay as little as possible.
As of this update, I'm updating the communication to poor.
Advice to Requester
Screen your polls, and if your gonna go and allow people to drop surveys and then only pay them 40 cents for 8 to 12 minutes of work, at least have the decent to just become James Billing and run us over directly.

Rejected automatically probably because I followed the instructions from their client. Was instructed to fill up the text box with characters after giving a few words but their system rejects automatically. Probably won't respond to my email and the rejection will stick.Next time I'll just make some nonsensical statements instead of following instructions to satisfy char limits

Once again, this a 10 minute survey put in a HIT that is paying .20 cents. I not only reviewed this one before but took the same exact survey and messaged the account pointing out that people are abusing the pooling system to do underpaid work. As, I am giving this review an unacceptable communication rating and advising that no one works for this as they do not listen in anyway, shape, or form.
