Pros
This is the time it took me to go downstairs to my garage, snap a photo of a leafblower, walk back upstairs, email the photo to myself, upload it to Alegion, check out their licensing agreement, then submit the HIT.If, by some stretch or miracle you happen to have a qualifying photo already on your phone you can do this faster. Fast enough to make 10cents worth it? Highly doubt it.

Hourly is absolutely garbage. I mean even as a standalone hourly wage its horrible but given the effort level involved this is actually crazy. They don't have a country qualification on the HIT though so assuming they don't care if non-Americans do it (makes some sense, still though).Makes you agree to forfeit all your rights/yaddayadda to the photo which is covered under MTurk's PA anyway so not a big deal but man is it terribly formatted & difficult to read.
I generally expect better of Alegion. But hey they can't all be winners.

Pros
This is the time it took to upload a pre-existing photo that matched their HIT criteria.Since you can technically upload 3 images of the same item (just need different angles) it might be possible to run the average up to close to $6/hr I guess if you happened to have a ton of the items in your garage ready to be photographed.
Almost 40s of this was waiting on their upload tool to finish though, so its really bottle-necked by their server's performance, which for me was not good.
