- Just barely worth the pay. Image viewing task (can pause between trials), followed by rating images on sliders (1 per image). Then a 10-trial word task (30 second limit). Then a barrage of personality questions (bubbles). Demographics, then end. There may have been something else but I've already blacked it out.- Images include spiders, snakes, insects, injured animals, and mild bloodshed. Not as horribly graphic as some studies but about a 3/10 on the gore/graphic scale.

Not too bad if you read other reviews first to know what to expect.Cons
• About 1/3 of the pictures are unpleasant; nothing extreme though, but could be a bit disturbing.• I think the incredible boredom and slow-ness of the study is part of the experiment; no way to speed up most of it
• There are definitely many attention checks

Painful. Largely timed. Comparing images. Rating about 80 images with one slider/one image per page. Related word task. Another task that seemed to be designed to kill the hourly and the ending had several pages of bubbles.
