Pros
I got the rejection and saw reviews here and on Turkopticon that others also were rejected with the same reason given. I emailed the requester because I was sure that I didn't provide non-sense answers. Requester emailed back within the hour explaining that the same message was sent to many others because there was an answer or answers that were non-sense such as "How many days per week do you....." Answer 20 or something like that. Basically they were auto-rejected based on the criteria the requester setup. The requester went through mine manually and saw a question somewhat like the one above that was asking how many times a week over 4 weeks do you..... I answered 20 which doesn't make sense for days in a week. I thought they wanted how many times (days) over 4 weeks. Anyway, the requester was very nice & understood why I answered the way I did and allowed me to answer the question again & is overturning my rejection. I understand things happen like this and the auto-reject isn't perfect but the requester was willing to immediately investigate. I'm so glad because I look forward to the follow-up surveys.Cons
Receiving a rejection always stresses me out because you never know if it's one of those requesters that never responds to email and basically doesn't care. But in this case, the requester was great!Sorry to reject you. But your answers are non-sense in many questions. For example, you write non-sense sentenses for the first 2 open questions, or, random app name, or, random app price, or non-sense days per week (20 days per week), etc. It is a scientific study so the accurate and honest of the answer is very important. Besides, I have 3 more follow up, so the first wave will be more important. For all the above reasons, I have to reject your answer. Thank you very much for your time.

Asks for full name at the end.Edit: Rejected with the most nonsensical, strange explanation I've ever seen on Mturk: "Sorry to reject you. But your answers are non-sense in many questions. For example, you write non-sense sentenses for the first 2 open questions, or, random app name, or, random app price, or non-sense days per week (20 days per week), etc. It is a scientific study so the accurate and honest of the answer is very important. I just... What the heck is any of that? I remember this survey. I indicated that I use the Cardiio app to track my heart rate during and after workouts, which is how I track my fitness. I didn't write "non-sense" or indicate there are 20 days in a week, etc.
Edit 2: I've gone back and forth with the requester via email. They've said they're reversing my rejection, but so far that hasn't happened. Requester doesn't seem to understand the platform, which makes communicating with them frustrating.

FINAL EDIT: Rejection overturned.Cons
I have no idea why I was rejected here. I remember this hit and I answered the open-ended questions coherently. I also gave the name of the fitness app I use (My Fitness Pal), which is a well-known app. I definitely know how many days are in a week and wouldn't have chosen something like 20 days per week as an answer. This is very frustrating because I know I paid attention and did the hit correctly. I emailed the requester and am waiting to hear back.EDIT: Requester responded to my email promptly and told me that he checked my data and it was good. The question that triggered the rejection by the computer was vague and easily misunderstood when it came to responding in minutes or hours, which is how I ended up getting rejected. He wasn't sure how to reverse it, but I sent him a link with instructions and he said he would reverse it. He was very nice about it. Will update once it has been reversed.
