Collaborative Problem Solving - Two part study - $5.00
Underpaid
Unrated
Approved
$7.02 / hour
00:42:44 / completion time
Pros
Sort of fun to do. A follow up that pays $10 plus a $10 bonus if you complete both might make it worthwhile...COMPENSATION: You will receive $5.00 for HIT 1, $10 for HIT 2, and a bonus of $10 if both are completed! In order to receive payment, you must enter your MTurk ID into the fields on the opening page of the link provided below.
Cons
2 hour timer but you have to start immediately in order to be paired with a partner...if you don't get one, you have to just return the HIT (which is crappy because you could waste time waiting for someone to show up)Horrible pay for this portion of the HIT. In the first part, you collaborate with a partner to make choices in two different tasks. My partner was good and replied in a timely fashion throughout but, this still took a long time. After you're finished there, you get a page of logic-type questions, demographics, etc.
Crap pay for all the time/work spent but, the second part + bonus should make it ok/average pay

Pros
This is the second of a two part series of HITs. The first part was a fun game which paid $2 for about 9 minutes. It approved within 2 days. This HIT is the second part where you answer a few questions about game characters and fill out a few surveys in under 8 minutes for $8. I really enjoyed participating in the game and completing both HITs. Wish they offered more fun game HITs like these.Cons

Pros
Its over.Pay isn't terrible, but did not enjoy completing this HIT at all despite the hourly being decent.
Cons
The layout is atrocious and artificially inflates the time it takes to do this HIT.Annie is the type of person who gets banned from mTurk forums.
Advice to Requester
Consider adding a "next page" keybind if you're designing a HIT in this fashion. Clicking the button increases the time I'm stuck on a page by 20-30% for no reason. Very small time investments in layout / page functionality could save you tons of money and workers tons of headache. The game is fine, I understand that's difficult to not make clunky so its forgivable, but JS/CSS is very simple stuff, reach out to the community if you need help with it.
